  • Chesapeake Expressway Toll Rate Restructuring
    On Tuesday, March 22, the Chesapeake City Council approved a toll rate restructuring for the Chesapeake Expressway. This was the first change in Expressway tolls since the road opened in May of 2001. The rate changes become effective May 1, 2011, at 12:01 a.m. Please click here for more info www.chesapeakeexpressway.com.

  • Scheduled toll increase to take effect on Pocahontas 895
    Pocahontas 895 is implementing a scheduled toll price increase beginning on Monday, February 7. Two-axle passenger vehicles passing through the Main Plaza will pay an extra quarter, but only during morning and afternoon commute times - between the hours of 6 and 9 a.m., and 3 and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.   • Dulles Toll Road toll increase January 1, 2010
    The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority approved a toll rate increase on the Dulles Toll Road of twenty-five cents at the Main Toll Plaza of the toll road and twenty-five cents at the ramps which will take effect on January 1, 2010.
    The increase will support construction of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project and improvements to the Dulles Toll Road.

  • New toll equipment will bring payment changes to Laburnum ramps on the Pocahontas 895 effective 7/13/2010
    The toll equipment used on Pocahontas 895 is being upgraded, and that's bringing new payment convenience to the Laburnum ramps. When the new equipment is completely installed later this month, cash payments will no longer be accepted at Laburnum. The new equipment at the Laburnum toll points will accept Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards, and continue to accept payment via E-ZPass. Cash will continue to be accepted at the Mainline Plaza.
